WordPress Maintenance Plans for U.S. Businesses
Keep your WordPress website cared for after launch. I help U.S. small businesses and agencies manage updates, backups, security checks, and ongoing fixes with a clear scope and a direct line to the developer.
ONGOING CARE / CLEAR MONTHLY SCOPE
Protect the site your business depends on.
WordPress maintenance is the routine work that helps a site stay current, recoverable, and dependable for visitors. Each engagement begins with a review of your WordPress version, theme, plugins, hosting, and the actions customers rely on. From there, we agree on the right update cadence, backup approach, and support allowance before ongoing work begins.
Updates with a plan
Core, plugin, and theme updates are reviewed against the site setup. Higher-risk changes can be scheduled for a staging or lower-traffic window when the hosting environment supports it.
Backups and recovery
A backup schedule and restore path are documented for your site. Backup frequency and retention are confirmed against your hosting and store activity before onboarding.
Monitoring and fixes
Routine checks look for visible errors and agreed site issues. Included fix time is used for small maintenance tasks; larger repairs or new features are quoted separately.
SIMPLE MONTHLY PLANS
Choose the level of care that fits your site.
Suggested starting prices in USD for one standard WordPress website. The final scope is confirmed after a site review; hosting, premium software licenses, taxes, major repairs, and new development are not included unless listed in a written proposal.

A PRACTICAL ONBOARDING
From site review to a steady care routine.
01 / Review
We inventory the WordPress install, plugins, theme, host, important forms, and business-critical journeys. You receive a clear summary of risks and recommended plan scope.
02 / Agree
We confirm access, backup ownership, update timing, support allowance, exclusions, and how urgent issues are communicated. No work starts until the responsibilities are clear.
03 / Maintain
Routine care follows the agreed schedule. Updates and small fixes are documented, and anything outside the plan is explained before it becomes additional work.
QUESTIONS & EXPECTATIONS
WordPress maintenance FAQs
Does a maintenance plan guarantee that my website will never go down?
No. Maintenance can reduce avoidable issues and improve recovery readiness, but no provider can promise zero downtime or prevent every security incident. Hosting, third-party services, and the site’s existing code also affect reliability.
Are hosting and plugin licenses included?
They are not included in the suggested monthly rates unless a written proposal says otherwise. Keep domain, hosting, and plugin accounts in your business name, and confirm renewal costs before onboarding.
What counts as a small maintenance request?
Small requests use the monthly time allowance shown on the plan, such as a minor text or link correction. New layouts, custom functionality, major plugin conflicts, malware recovery, and redesigns are scoped separately.
Can you maintain a WooCommerce website?
Yes. The Commerce scope includes a review of store updates and a post-update checkout spot check. Payment gateways, shipping, tax settings, and order workflows are confirmed during onboarding; tax and payment-provider advice remain with the relevant qualified providers.
Do I need a staging site?
A staging copy is helpful for higher-risk changes, but it depends on your hosting and site setup. We will confirm whether one is available and how it can be used safely before including staging review in the workflow.
How do I get started?
Use the contact form to share your site URL, the plan you are considering, and any recent issues. We will review the setup and confirm a written scope and price before ongoing maintenance begins.
Start with a clear picture of your site.
Tell me what your WordPress site does, which issues you want to prevent, and whether it supports a store or lead-generation workflow. I’ll use that to recommend a practical maintenance scope.
